MS-INBRE Project Development Grant Awarded

I am pleased to announce that our research project, “Integrating RNA Velocity and Isoform-Level Analysis to Define Macrophage State Transitions in Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer,” has received a $292,000 Project Development Grant from the Mississippi IDeA Network of Biomedical Research Excellence (MS-INBRE).

The project runs from September 1, 2026, through August 31, 2028.

Research Overview

This project investigates macrophage state transitions in non-small cell lung cancer by integrating RNA velocity analysis with isoform-level transcriptomic analysis.

The research aims to develop computational approaches for understanding cellular dynamics and transcript isoform changes in the tumor microenvironment.
